It will return with # 386 in the early morning of Saturday, January 8, 2022.... or, if you prefer, late night Friday, January 7, 2022.

"Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" #350 (and Bad News)

 

Greetings!

 

Today, I have both Good News and Bad News for you.

 

First the Good News:

 

"Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" reached its 350th radio broadcast last Saturday (January 16, 2021).

 

Since the program began in 2013, it should be further than #350 but snowstorms and getting interrupted by the radio station's COVID-19 measures in 2020 got in the way of that.

 

Now for the Bad News....

 

Like last year, "Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" has been temporarily pulled off of the air again due to COVID-19 safety measures at the radio station (it's in what's now known as a COVID-19 "Red Zone" in New Brunswick, Canada).

 

#350 will be the last "Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" for the foreseeable future but don't worry: it will return at some point with #351.

"The Facts:

 

My current radio program, "Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" began in 2013 on CFAI-FM, an FM station with a community station CRTC license, and, as of yesterday, is only at # 341.

 

If it was not for being off the air for 3 and a half months due to COVID-19 measures at the station, the show would be much closer to # 400.

 

My show reached # 300 last year without any acknowledgment from locally-elected Provincial and Federal politicians (i.e.: MLA Francine Landry and MP René Arseneault) in the form of signed documents delivered by in-person studio visits and was completely cake-free.

 

I now see that not all 300s are equals because double standards appear to exist.

 

Thank you to those of you that can count and know that the number 300 must be passed to get to number 341.

 

Thank you and onward to # 342 and beyond.

 Hello Everyone,

"Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" will neither be broadcasting tonight (tomorrow morning - December 26, 2020) nor the following week (January 2, 2021).

The show will return with # 349 on January 9, 2021.

Due to an unexpected issue, "Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" #338 will not broadcast on CFAI tonight.

It will be broadcast next Friday night instead (unless something weird happens again).

Due to an unexpected technicality, "Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" is not on the air tonight (this morning) but it should be returning next week.

*Note: "Bernard Brule Les Ondes, Vol. 2!" returned in Late-Spring after Covid-19 was more or less under control in New Brunswick, Canada.
